Enfield Voluntary Action is known as EVA. We help people & groups access knowledge, skills & resources to make a difference in our Borough.
This 3 day LBE funded accredited training will support staff, trustees & volunteers in community organisations to understand & implement strong safeguarding policies & procedures to
* protect children & young people,
* enhance trust in your organisation,
* increase your chances of successful fundraising.

Time | 9.30am - 2.30pm each day
Venue | Community House, 311 Fore Street, Edmonton N9 0PZ.

Cost | FREE of CHARGE for staff and long-term committed volunteers in voluntary & community organisations working with children & young people in the London Borough of Enfield. (£50 refundable deposit).
The Award aims to help learners understand:
+ legal requirements & appropriate policies and procedures on safeguarding;
+ vulnerabilities of young people – including radicalisation & grooming;
+ the importance of promoting safeguarding in your own workplace, in the context of legal responsibilities and
+ the role of Prevent;
+ how to make referrals.
Regulated by Ofqual, the qualifications regulator for England, and registered on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
