Enfield Voluntary Action is known as EVA. We help people & groups access knowledge, skills & resources to make a difference in our Borough.

Connect Well Enfield

Connect Well Enfield is a searchable online directory which will be launched by EVA in 2020. Connect Well Enfield  provides opportunities for people and groups to share and learn, and to take positive local social action.

 

For residents who are seeking a new leisure or social activity, need advice or information, or want to meet other people with similar interests or life experiences, Connect Well Enfield will help to make connections with local groups who can offer opportunities for participation.

Criteria / Policies required

EVA full or associate membership (We can help you get the right policies in place if you are not currently a member)

An appropriate governing document.

A Management Committee / Board of Trustees or Directors of at least 3 members.

Equal Opportunities Policy.

Safeguarding Policy.

Health and Safety Policy.

Data Protection Policy.

A copy of the most recent Year End Accounts.

You will be asked to confirm whether you have or need the following

  • Public Liability Insurance

  • Employers’ Liability Insurance (if employer)

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (if providing advice)

  • DBS checks (if applicable)

Register your service / activity for Connect Well Enfield

EVA full or associate members can become part of Connect Well Enfield, the new local online directory, which will help to ensure that you can reach the Enfield residents who will benefit from your services, and they can find you.

 

Once launched, the information provided by local organisations will be open to the public and can be used for referrals by our Link Workers, voluntary sector Health Champions, by health professionals, and via self-referrals from local residents.

 

The online searchable directory will be launched soon.

We will ask you to have appropriate policies in place - see below. If your organisation does not yet have those policies, we can supply templates and direct support to adapt them for your organisation. Just let us know on the application form that you need further help.

 

Once you are a member we will continue to support you to get your activities onto Connect Well.
