Introduction to Children & Young People's Mental Health

Trainers | Bella Barron & Jill Dyson from Young Minds

Venue | Interactive workshop via Zoom (Zoom is free to download)

Cost | FREE for all community groups who deliver services for children & young people in the London Borough of Enfield.

Please note | As places are limited, priority will be given to groups who deliver at least 80% of their services in the London Borough of Enfield. We may limit the number of people one group can send on the workshop.

Priority bookings - accepted up to and including 19th November.

Waiting list bookings - we will let you know as soon as possible after 19th November if you have been allocated a place.

 

Content | Understand mental health and learn practical ways of working with children experiencing distress.

  • Develop a shared understanding of mental health

  • Develop an understanding of the risk and protective factors that impact children and young people

  • Consider how trusted adults can support children and young people’s mental health

  • Explore ways to promote positive mental health within our settings

  • Recognise the importance of looking after our own wellbeing

 

Prevent Enfield will be available at the end of the workshop to discuss how Prevent works in Enfield.
