EVA provides services to local voluntary and community organisations in Enfield
We had a really enjoyable, celebratory day at our Great Voluntary Sector Get Together on 28th June 2018 at Forty Hall & Estate with many friends and colleagues in Enfield’s voluntary & community sector.
We were joined by the Mayor, Cllr. Saray Karakus, who presented the prizes for the first ever Enfield Together Awards which celebrated innovative, inspiring and inclusive individuals and teams who are doing great work in helping to build a strong cohesive community in Enfield.
Kate Osamor MP also called in to give her support for the work done by our sector.
Photos from the event are on our Facebook page.
The first ever Enfield Together Awards were presented at The Great Voluntary Sector Get-Together, for teams or individuals nominated and judged by people in our local sector.
Enfield Together will be a 6 month project which aims to celebrate and support a strong local socially inclusive community, funded by National Lottery Awards for All.
The Great Voluntary Sector Get-Together will kick it all off in the spirit of The Great Get Together, inspired by Jo Cox, who was killed on 16th June 2016.
“We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us” Jo Cox
