Enfield Voluntary Action is known as EVA. We help people & groups access knowledge, skills & resources to make a difference in our Borough.
EVA offers a targeted programme of training for trustees, staff and volunteers in voluntary and community organisations.
Our training aims to support your organisation to become sustainable so you can meet future challenges and deliver services to residents in the London Borough of Enfield with confidence.
We have a small computer suite where our Community Accountant can provide hands-on accounts training to small groups.
(The computer suite is also available for hire to external trainers).
EVA holds regular events (usually free of charge) to provide opportunities to find out what is happening in Enfield, for example health or housing policy, and to enable Enfield's voluntary and community sector staff, volunteers and trustees to meet and discuss ideas.
The charge for training with EVA depends on the type of organisation and the type / duration of training.
We are able to keep the charges low thanks to our funders, and because most of our training is delivered by our own experienced and qualified staff.
The cost for each course is shown on the course description.
We cannot confirm your place on any training course until payment is received.
All our training courses, events and Meet the Funder opportunities are listed in EVANEWS, our monthly newsletter.
One training and events booklet with paper booking forms is sent to every organisation on EVA's mailing list.
Ask your Chair of Trustees / Chief Officer / Administrator.
We can offer bespoke training for your organisation by arrangement. Please contact us to outline your requirements.
