Introductory, Full or Associate membership of Enfield Voluntary Action is free, renewable annually and available to all voluntary organisations in the London Borough of Enfield that meet the criteria set out by EVA’s Board of Trustees. Only full member organisations can nominate a representative to be an EVA Director and/or vote at the Annual General Meeting or Extraordinary General Meetings.
EVA was established in 1991 by local voluntary and community organisations to support, promote and develop local voluntary and community action.
Since its formation EVA has developed a successful track record of representing and supporting local voluntary organisations.
EVA currently has approximately 600 Enfield voluntary and community organisations on its mailing list. 150 of these are EVA members, with rights to nominate and elect trustees, and to vote on matters affecting EVA's constitution, charitable objectives and accounts.
EVA is a member of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA).
NAVCA is an association for infrastructure organisations. These are organisations which give information, advice, support and training to other voluntary and community organisations.
